Public Buses Bring the Green Message

By Singapore News Group (Originally in English)

[Singapore] In September, Golden Year 6 (2009), initiates from the Singapore Center launched a project to help raise the awareness of climate change by employing public buses as their advertising media. A total of four public buses from SBS Transit, a Singapore bus company, started travelling on the road displaying the urgent SOS message of  “Be Veg, Go Green, Save the Planet” to alert the public about the urgency of the present climate crisis. The bus routes cover all north, south, east and west areas of the green island city and the images printed on the sides of each bus include a large beautiful photo of our beloved Master, an illustration showing the consequences of climate change, warnings of greenhouse gas emissions from livestock, and a message from Dr. Rajendra Pachauri on reducing meat intake as a way to stop global warming. The website address of Supreme Master Television was also on display.

All the buses will continue touring the city for three more months. Plans are underway to increase the number of SOS buses and to prolong the continuation of the advertisements on the road. With Master’s love and blessings, the initiates are working to make more people aware of the benefits of a plant-based diet and embrace a compassionate vegan lifestyle.
