Working Together to Spread the Urgent Message

By San Jose News Group (Originally in English)

[San Jose] Our Association members from the San Jose Center have worked together to actively promote the SOS climate change message in the bay area. Using Bus Tail Ads, they have successfully posted the “Be Veg. Go Green. Save the Planet” message on 45 buses that will traverse the neighboring cities and towns of Santa Clara from 7am to 10 pm daily for 8 weeks. An overall estimated 7.6 million people will see the signs, according to CBS Outdoor Advertising.

In addition, highway billboards were also set up in high-traffic areas. With God’s blessing, they received surprisingly good discounts at perfect locations from ClearChannel Outdoor Advertising. One SOS Billboard right in the heart of the Silicon Valley near the intersection of two major interstate highways carrying the “Be VEGetarian! It Stops 80% of Global Warming” logo was seen by over 2 million people. The second SOS Billboard was close to the International San Francisco Airport. And the third SOS Billboard will be up for another 4 weeks. The Association members are so grateful and happy to share Master's message with such a large number of fellow citizens in the bay area.

“Save Our Planet” Broadcast Live on Cable TV

By Chicago News Group (Originally in English)

[Chicago] A new TV hotline show “Save Our Planet” that addresses global warming and its solution made its debut on Wednesday evening, September 23, Golden Year 6 (2009) in Chicago, Illinois. With one of our Association members as the host, special guest Dr. Will Tuttle talked live to TV viewers and answered their questions about veganism and the immense healing power it brings to our health and our planet. The show was on air live for 24 minutes on channel 21, Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV), viewed by possibly one million Comcast Cable TV subscribers. Through Master’s quiet guidance and the assistance of CAN TV staff, the show was a success for being the first trial for Association members. The Illinois Center expects to hold a weekly series of this hotline show starting January 2010.

A Summer Filled with Fun and God’s Grace

By Boston News Group (Originally in English)

[Boston] Thanks to Master's grace and all initiates’ supporting efforts, the Boston Center had great success in sharing both vegan food and SOS information this summer through participation in all kinds of local festivals and events, such as the Solar Fest in Vermont, Southeast Asian Water Festival in Lowell, Massachusetts, Windsor Fair in Maine and the Rochester Fair in New Hampshire.

At the annual Southeast Asian Water Festival on August 15, the Association members provided vegan cuisine and SOS global warming information to thousands of visitors. The Lowell Health inspectors were very pleased with their kitchen team because their food was clean, healthy and safe. Several members wore hats decorated with colorful fruits and vegetables, attracting a lot of visitors to their booth. Many people had a chance to be exposed to the Alternative Living Lifestyle and Vegan Food for the very first time and were very impressed. Quite a few came back to buy more or try other dishes.

At the 10-day Rochester Fair in New Hampshire in September, the Association members greeted many visitors in an uplifting atmosphere. Their food was the most popular, winning compliments from visitors and even the event organizers. Many people had the chance to taste vegan food and discuss global warming, environment, health problems and spiritual topics. People from the Seven-Days Adventists Church highly praised their work and even offered to help distribute flyers. Some of their members and many other customers suggested that our Association members open a vegan restaurant in the New Hampshire area.

Summer passed so quickly this year, with so many exciting and meaningful events thanks to Master’s inspiration and arrangement. May more and more people be motivated by the noble work that is being done, to spread the vegan way of life quickly enough to save our precious and beautiful planet.
