Visiting Remote Areas to Spread the Truth

By Mongolia News Group (Originally in Mongolian)

[Mongolia] Recently, local initiates had the honour to meet with Mongolia’s new Democratic President Elbegdorj Tsakhia during his Presidential election campaign. They graciously presented him Master’s sample booklet, SOS and AL flyers, a handbook on Global Warming and Vegetarianism published by Mongolian initiates.

In May, fellow initiates organized a seminar for Mongolian railway staff and their family members and relatives in Ulaanbaatar. Through visual presentations, they introduced Supreme Master Ching Hai’s life and teachings, the Quan Yin Method of meditation as well as the connection between global warming and vegetarianism. Another similar seminar was held for the railway doctors and physicians. As a result of these two seminars, a new vegetarian restaurant was opened in the railway hotel, Gan Zam, on May 29, Golden Year 6 (2009)!

During a ten-day period in April 2009, eight members of the Supreme Master Ching Hai Association Mongolia Center traveled 600 kilometers to the remote province of Bayankhongor and to the smaller township of Kharkhorin. Seminars on global warming’s causes, consequences and solutions plus vegetarian cooking classes were presented and the convenient method was taught to 648 people. More than 200 truth-seekers expressed their sincere interest for initiation while 62 people immediately applied for initiation and became vegetarian. A contribution from the initiates provided a television, library and DVD player for the Bayankhongor meditation center. Civil and Public Institutions, and the media were invited to the seminars and initiates were interviewed by local television in Bayankhongor.

The wondrous results from this trip have inspired further travels to the remote rural areas of Mongolia to continue spreading Master’s teachings and love.
