Introducing the Delicacy of Tofu to the African People

By Cameroon News Group (Originally in French)

[Douala] In order to help African people become aware of the deliciousness and nutritional value of tofu, which is a rich source of protein and 100% vegan, the Douala initiates in Cameroon formed a tofu-producing team to help people transit to an earth-saving vegan diet. The team sells both raw and barbecue-flavored tofu at a discount rate so more people are willing to try it. They also hand out informative flyers on this healthy, affordable and ecological delicacy.

Since soya beans are easily available in Cameroon and in light of the current food and water shortages and global warming crisis, the initiates believe that tofu will become a popular staple food for African people as more turn to the life-and resource-saving vegan diet in the near future.

Delivering a Heartfelt “Thank You” to the Director of Vision Cable Company

On May 27, Golden Year 6 (2009), Douala initiates visited Vision Cable Company in Douala, Cameroon, to deliver a Thank You letter from Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association to the Director, Mr. Jean Charles Job. The Thank You letter was given in recognition of Vision Cable Company’s noble decision to include Supreme Master Television to their transmission system, thus making it available to thousands of households in Africa.
