Ching Hai International Association and joined a seminar through
live videoconference with Supreme Master Ching Hai. His Excellency
Mr. Ramos highlighted the virtues of a sharing and frugal lifestyle
in saving the world. He also quoted the motto of the Ramos Peace
Foundation: “Caring, Sharing, Daring!” to encourage
everyone toward united action, as people and as nations. Supreme
Master Ching Hai expressed Her sincere gratitude to former President
Ramos for accepting the Aulacese refugees during his presidency.
She also appealed to able nations to help the environmental refugees
of today, thus showing the true meaning of brotherhood of nations.

action is needed for the dire state of our planet. Supreme
Master Ching Hai encouraged each person to take responsibility,
setting an example for others or even their leaders. Responding
to questions from the audience, Master spoke in ways that
touched every heart as She shared such insights as: “Living
in virtue is the only protection; these virtues will be smiled
upon by Heaven. We have to respect life and then we will beget
life.”
