Loving Hut Earns Positive Feedback

By Busan News Group (Originally in Korean)

[Busan] On December 13, Golden Year 5 (2008), Loving Hut International franchise extended to Korea, opening its first vegetarian outlet in Busan, the country’s second-largest metropolis after Seoul.

Located downtown, it offers a wide variety of 30 delicious vegan dishes, such as “Lucky Stick” and “Joy of Sweet and Sour,” which have been named to bring more happiness to all. Guests can enjoy vegan meals and tea, or surf the Internet via wireless access in the happy and cozy atmosphere.

After a visit to Loving Hut, a foreign guest wanted to recommend the restaurant to her friends from other nations, saying, “I used to be a vegan in my country, but I couldn’t afford it in Korea. I’m delighted that I can resume the vegan diet, and the food here tastes so good!” A young local woman appreciated the safe and clean environment of the restaurant, where she could bring her three-year-old child who suffers from allergies.

Having taken the first step with the Busan outlet, Association members in Korea anticipate further success in developing a nationwide franchise that would bring enormous benefit to all beings on Earth.

Serving Veg to Please the Palate

[Jinju] Local initiates in Korea’s southeastern city of Jinju relocated their Center to accommodate their growing numbers. Not long after the move, they welcomed more new members into the Quan Yin family by holding a seminar on Master’s teachings on December 21, Golden Year 5 (2008).

All of the participants received a vegetarian lunch box and were invited to stay for a vegetarian buffet. Many were amazed at the variety and wonderful taste of the food, and a guest considered becoming vegetarian for sake of the children. Ten guests learned the Convenient Method of meditation.

Two days later, just before Christmas, teachers of an elementary school were treated to a vegetarian meal prepared by fellow initiates. Everyone thought it was delicious, the vice- principal placing it on par with food served at highly expensive restaurants. The school was given a CD on global warming and SOS flyers, and the initiates were invited to hold a vegetarian cooking class.

Fellow initiates are very grateful to Master for Her ingenious arrangements that have allowed them to work together with the community.
